In November of 2005, Birmingham became the first city to have a joint signing with an Arab and an Israeli city.
Birmingham and Rosh Ha’ayin signed a Sister City agreement that formalized the longtime relationship between our cities. In July 2017, a youth group from Phillips Academy visited Israel and Jordan, and a youth group from Rosh Ha’Ayin as well as a group from Vinnytsia, Ukraine participated in the JCC Maccabi Games here in Birmingham.
